In this episode I am joined by my friend and colleague Athena Aktins. We have a wide ranging conversation in which we discuss our evolving understanding of our complex intersectional identities within our current historical context.

We discuss some of the issues currently impacting us, our families and our work. Such as; the resurgence of violent white nationalism, anti-immigrant & anti-Latinx policies, and the increase in hate crimes.

In addition, we share a bit about our personal experience living through the Chauvin trial, and Daute Wright’s murder, here in the Twin Cities.
